- Detroit Parade Company
GameAbove sponsored Parade Company’s Big Head Corps, a group of 85 marchers in America’s Thanksgiving Parade®. The Parade Company is a non-profit organization governed by the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation.
- Gamers Outreach
Gamers Outreach partnered with Trinity Health Ann Arbor and Oakland hospitals to provide portable gaming kiosks to hospital patients. This initiative was made possible by GameAbove’s $900,000 donation towards gaming for hospital patients.
- Ypsilanti Cleanup Day 2022
GameAbove donated $3,500 to the 2022 Ypsilanti Cleanup Day, collaborating with Eastern Michigan University (EMU), Engage at EMU and the Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority on this community initiative.
- EMU Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Project
GameAbove donated $5,000 to Eastern Michigan University to purchase PPE supplies. Students, faculty, and staff made the PPE, which was donated to St. Joseph Mercy and Henry Ford Hospitals.
- YPSI LIVE & Ypsilanti Community Schools
3Comcast and YPSI LIVE partnered to address digital inequity in Ypsilanti Community Schools by providing 400 families with six months of free internet and donating computers to families in need.
- Hope Clinic
GameAbove helped expand the clinic's free services, including medical and dental care, food, and other essential needs, throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
- Food Gatherers
The economic impact of COVID-19, including widespread job loss due to closures, resulted in a surge in demand for food banks nationwide. GameAbove stepped up with a significant donation.
- Ozone House
GameAbove donated $500,000 to Ozone House. The funds will be used for facility improvements and to support employee funding through the Engage@EMU program. This initiative helped expand Ozone House's facility and provide resources for a social worker dedicated to assisting at-risk youth and the homeless.
- Best of the Batch Foundation
GameAbove donated $500,000 and two Polaris GEM electric vehicles to the Best of the Batch Foundation’s $8.2 million fundraising campaign. The funds supported the construction and upkeep of a 33,000-square-foot educational facility in Homestead, PA.
